Hot pants

Paige Lola short in Chello, $149,
Charles by Charles David Bamboo wedges,
Adilisik shirt

With summer fast approaching now is the time to seriously think about updating our warm weather wardrobes, getting some fresh basic pieces and of course some of this season’s trendy must-haves. I love when fashionable styles are also functional and somewhat practical, in this case you’ll get the most out of them.

Paige Silverlake short in Deco Rose - $135 and
Rust Corduroy - $129

Shorts are one of the most essential items for summer, almost a necessity, and this season designers have paid extra attention making many styles statement pieces. The range of colors, patterns and finishes is quite astonishing and makes shorts not only stylish but also versatile.

No surprise that with the popularity of printed bottoms shorts got some pattern on them too. Floral, geometric, tribal, some super bright, some more muted - you name it! With the huge variety of different prints there's no excuse not to get at least one!

Paige Jimmy Jimmy short - Central Stripe, $169

Today’s “hottest” shorts come in an easy, very comfortable fit with plenty of room in the thigh. In combination with so “in” high waistline they are more flattering and sophisticated than ever. Pair them with a crisp button down shirt and hip wedges for an elegant day-time look or with a simple tee and flat sandals for a casual, laid-back outfit. Depending on the fabrication and overall silhouette some of them, like a tailored satin short, are a great option for a night out.

Paige Lola short in Chello

The Paige Lola cut-offs in Chello are a perfect example of the ultimate shorts this season. Trendy high-waist silhouette with a beautiful vintage-inspired floral print make this short an ideal combination of retro and modern fashion. Feminine and sophisticated while still so hip and fun, this versatile pair of shorts can easily become your favorite "go to" item this summer.
