Studded

7 For All Mankind jeans, Karen Millen sweater, shoes,
BCBG Max Azria studded clutch, MANGO cat-eye sunglasses

Studs and spikes have already been a huge trend for a few seasons. Versace classic, rejuvenated by Burberry Prorsum (do you remember those heavily embellished jackets featured in the Britney Spears “Till the World Ends” video and worn by so many celebrities?) and Christian Louboutin, this trend has gradually been picked up by more and more brands and today studded goods are both widely available and affordable.

BCBG Max Azria West open-toe bootie, $350
What I like about this trend is that you can go as far as you want with it. Go for an all-over studded dress or boots if you feel like a rock diva, or add a studded clutch or sandals to a more low-key outfit in order to bring that extra edge to your look. No matter how you do it – in a big over-the-top way or just scratching the surface of the studded trend – you will definitely score a bold and stylish look.

GUESS? by Marciano Carli stud belt, $48
BCBG Max Azria Amare studded T-strap sandal, $165

Very flexible and quite universal, studs will work regardless of your age and style.  Tailor their use according to the occasion and reveal your fearless fashionista spirit.
